A 12” dial wall clock, with bakelite surround, from around the late 30s or 40s. This clock is in good condition with a good bakelite surround, there is a small cut out at the top of the surround for the lead and no other chips or cut-outs. The dial has a nice warm age to it with some of the usual speckling to it The Smiths ‘de luxe’ movement in this clock is not self starting. Identical in every way to a Smiths clock; the hands are set and the movement started by the knob in the surround at 6 O'Clock position. This clock runs on 9vac via a plug in power supply unit.
Dial is 12" wide and the case is 14" wide. £160
