A Smiths Delhi major 12" Dial wall clock, with bakelite surround, made in the late 1930s or 1940s.
This clock is in excellent condition with a polished surface and warm colour. There are no cuts out of the surround at all. The cream dial is unscratched and is a nice consistent aged cream colour. An excellent time keeper - it has been running in my house for a couple of months, that's how much I like it. The de luxe movement in this clock is not self starting movement but it is obvious when it has stopped. Like the majority of Smiths wall clocks the hands are set and the movement started by the knob in the surround at 6 O'Clock position. This clock is quite heavy and will need a secure fastening.
Fully overhauled and running on 9vac via a PSU - it has a white cable to the power supply plug adapter.
Dial is 12" wide and the case is 14.5" (37cm) wide
The white cable is approx 2 metres long to reach your mains socket.
